This Creator's 3DCG 'Lady-Style' Zeong from Mobile Suit Gundam Just Got a Real-Life Model, and It's Pure Royalty!

If you're into Gunpla, chances are you've dabbled in all sorts of customization – painting, cutting, weathering, you name it – all to make your kits truly stand out. But some creators take it to the next level, even using 3D printing to sculpt incredibly imaginative and playful new designs.

Today, we're diving into a seriously cool project! We've previously featured Chinese creator 93zhan ( @93zhan1sg ), who blew minds by reimagining the iconic Mobile Suit Gundam mobile suit Zeong as a stunning, feminine-styled 3DCG model. Now, get ready, because he's gone and turned that digital dream into a tangible, physical model, bringing his elegant Zeong to life!

Any true Zeong fan knows the running gag: this mobile suit famously lacks legs! Its signature move is gliding around on hidden thrusters concealed within its waist skirt armor – a truly iconic design choice.

93zhan took the 'lady' concept and ran with it, giving the entire mobile suit a much more slender silhouette. The original lower body transforms into what looks like an elegant, flowing gown. Its arms are now gracefully elongated, ditching the wired beam cannons for a sleeker look, and it even boasts long, shapely legs! The skirt armor isn't just for show either; it's designed to unfurl into massive hands, or even detach and float around like psycommu weapons. The whole package exudes an undeniable elegance, showcasing a radically different side of the Zeong.

After countless hours tweaking the 3D model, 93zhan finally declared it 'finished'! He then brought his vision to life, 3D printing all the components to create this stunning physical model.

Get a closer look, and you'll see this 'Lady-Style' Zeong absolutely radiates a regal, queen-like aura. The antennae extending from its head are a dead ringer for Haman Karn's iconic Neo Zeon battle gown headdress from "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam". The intricate design of the long skirt armor is incredibly aesthetic, and even though it's not fully deployed, you can already spot the hidden weapons within and even catch a glimpse of its slender legs.

Once the skirt armor deploys, it's designed to be controlled by a psycommu frame, transforming into what looks like massive, extended hands. These can then split into four separate units, capable of self-propulsion and attacking enemy mobile suits – talk about versatility!

With the skirt armor removed, this 'Lady-Style' Zeong reveals stunningly slender legs, and you can even spot the original Zeong's thruster propulsion system cleverly integrated into its feet. Its overall proportions are much closer to a tall, elegant woman, making it a striking departure from your typical humanoid mobile suit.

Side-by-side with the original Zeong, the contrast is absolutely mind-blowing!

Unsurprisingly, this finished masterpiece has garnered tons of love and praise from netizens. Comments poured in, like "It's gorgeous!", "Gives off serious Five Star Stories vibes, a totally different aesthetic!", "Definitely has a queenly presence," and "I never imagined the Zeong could look this beautiful!"

Now, this style might not be everyone's cup of tea among Gundam purists, but there's no denying it's a bold and fascinating breakthrough! Who knew a Gundam mobile suit could be reimagined with such a 'lady-like' flair? Definitely a fun experiment!
