Remember morish (@O15RXnhQL8nvfYW)? The mastermind behind the incredible Gundam Dynames Physical II and Stark Jegan Light Cannon builds, who snagged both the Japan Championship and Audience Award at the 11th GunPla Builders World Cup (GBWC) 2023? His pro-level craftsmanship and intricate lore always blow us away.
Well, morish is back with another jaw-dropping creation! This time, he's taken Bandai's HG 1/144 Exaby Gyan (White Porcelain Spear Equipment) from "GQuuuuuuX" and mashed it up with the iconic Qubeley from "Z Gundam". The result? His custom-designed "Haman's Custom Gyan," a fresh new mobile suit that's already racking up praise from fans online.
morish's concept for "Haman's Custom Gyan" is pure genius: "What if, in the 'GQuuuuuuX' universe, there was a prototype Qubeley built on a Gyan frame?" He even crafted a backstory: After learning of Kishilia's death, Haman urgently commissioned this mobile suit to rebuild the Zabi family. Techs hastily slapped unfinished Qubeley parts onto a high-mobility, close-combat Gyan, giving birth to "Haman's Custom Gyan."
Its primary weapon is the new "White Porcelain Spear II," a scaled-down, more maneuverable version of the original Gyan's spear. This bad boy features flexible thrusters at the hilt and even integrates a Gelgoog beam rifle at the bottom! It's all about boosting firepower while keeping agility high. The round shield on its left arm, though, is a simpler design, typically reserved for royal guards.
"Haman's Custom Gyan" primarily attacks with high-speed spear thrusts, propelled by its thrusters. Since it's still a prototype, the funnels aren't packing heavy firepower and are mainly for enemy suppression. The real damage comes from precise, mid-to-close range strikes with the "White Porcelain Spear II," making it a true close-quarters combat specialist.
Take a look at that armor! The original Gyan body sports Qubeley's shoulder armor and arms, effectively giving this beast four arms! Naturally, with Haman's legendary piloting skills, she can wield them all with deadly precision against any foe.
This cross-series mashup truly delivers, and morish's meticulous backstory and design make this fantastical "Haman's Custom Gyan" feel incredibly plausible.
morish has also announced he'll be competing in GBWC 2025, and we're already buzzing with anticipation for his next entry! If you're digging his work, be sure to check out more on his X (formerly Twitter) – it's an absolute goldmine for GunPla customization inspiration!
