Created by artist Nagano, the manga series "Chiikawa" (also known as "Something Small and Cute") launched in 2020 and quickly became a cultural phenomenon. Its unique style captivated fans, especially after its TV anime adaptation, making it a beloved franchise worldwide.
Recently on X (formerly Twitter) in Japan, a Pokémon fan and user named Pon (@ige_pon) shared their incredible creations: Pokémon plushies reimagined in the adorable Chiikawa style. The results were so irresistibly cute that netizens couldn't stop praising their craftsmanship and creativity.

Pon's latest project features "Chiikawa-fied" Pokémon. Take Umbreon, for example. Originally known for its cool red eyes and sleek silhouette, it's been transformed into a chubby, fluffy, and utterly charming creature standing on two feet! LOL.
With big, dewy eyes, a tightly closed little mouth, and rosy pink cheeks, it perfectly captures Chiikawa's signature expression! Pon also clarified that these are fan creations made using their own custom patterns.

Beyond Umbreon, Pon also crafted a Chiikawa-style Jolteon. Seeing the two side-by-side is so heartwarming, it's impossible not to smile. And that's not all! Flareon, Raichu, Sylveon, and more Pokémon have all gotten the Chiikawa treatment, gathering for an epic, super-cute lineup.

Even Magnemite got in on the action! LOL!

There's even a shiny Umbreon version!

This series of fan works sparked a flurry of comments like, "So... so cute...", "Seriously, this is too adorable!!!!!", and "You're amazing! A total genius!" Clearly, the charm of this "Chiikawa × Pokémon" crossover is absolutely unstoppable.
Of course, these are all handmade by the creator. If you've got the crafting skills, maybe you can try making your own!
