If you're into Gunpla, chances are you've dabbled in all sorts of customization techniques—painting, cutting, weathering—anything to make your model stand out.
Today, we're diving into a mind-blowing "brush painting" example! Japanese Gunpla builder Senasuke (@senasukeke) pulled off some seriously clever painting techniques and material applications to make this Gunpla look like it popped right out of an "illustration." And yeah, the internet is absolutely losing it over her skills.

Senasuke, a master of brush painting and a YouTuber, frequently shares her incredible paint jobs on YouTube and X. She's constantly experimenting with different effects, earning tons of praise along the way.

For this particular masterpiece, she tackled the "RG 1/144 Sazabi," Char Aznable's iconic mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. She posted the finished piece with "brush painting" in the title, and honestly, even knowing it's a painted model, it looks exactly like a hand-drawn illustration at first glance. From the outlines and shading to the gradient work, it'll make you question your own eyes—her painting skills are just out of this world!

The entirely brush-painted finish is incredibly striking, especially the gradient visual effects on the mobile suit. Netizens are absolutely floored, exclaiming, "I'm genuinely impressed that brush painting can reach this level of mastery."
