"Jujutsu Kaisen" officially wrapped up its six-and-a-half-year run last September, but creator Gege Akutami isn't taking a break just yet.
"Weekly Shonen Jump"'s latest issue (Issue #40, 2025) just dropped a bombshell: Issue #41, hitting shelves on September 8th, will feature a brand-new short-term serialization titled "≡-Modulo-"! This exciting collaboration sees Gege Akutami handling the original story, while manga artist Yuji Iwasaki, known for his work on "Cipher Academy," takes on the art.

This marks Akutami's second serialized work, though this time he's stepping into the role of original creator rather than illustrator. Yuji Iwasaki, who previously worked on "Cipher Academy" (original story by NisiOisiN, 7 volumes total) from 2022 to 2024, has garnered attention for his intricate and dynamic art style.

The official announcement also revealed that the first chapter of "≡-Modulo-" will debut with a massive spread: a cover, color pages, and a whopping 54-page epic! They've even dropped some sneak peek images, teasing some truly stunning art and atmosphere.
Of course, the "short-term serialization" tag has everyone wondering just how long this new series will run. Fans are buzzing to see what kind of magic this collaboration will cook up. We'll all have to wait until "Weekly Shonen Jump" Issue #41 officially drops to find out!
