Developed by Shanghai Manjuu Network Technology and Xiamen Yongshi, the mobile game "Azur Lane" has captivated players across Asia since its launch. Its stellar character designs have garnered a massive following, even in Japan, where it competes with other ship-girl titles like "Kantai Collection."
During the "Azur Lane EXPO - Azur Lane 8th Anniversary-" physical event held on September 6th and 7th, the official livestream unveiled a commemorative merch item that had everyone in stitches: "wobbly butt" and "wobbly boob" phone stickers! This audacious and bizarre design instantly became a hot topic on X (formerly Twitter).

This isn't Azur Lane's first foray into wild merch; last year's 7th-anniversary event featured a "half-body boob mousepad," already showcasing the dev team's boundless creativity when it comes to product development.
During the official livestream, viewers were utterly baffled, wondering, "What even *is* this thing? Do you win if you collect all five body parts?!"
The "wobbly butt" and "wobbly boob" phone stickers are 3D renditions of "Soviet Union (Ninja Outfit)"'s derriere and "Mogador (Nurse Outfit)"'s chest, respectively. Their purpose? You can stick them on walls or your phone. Each comes with a tiny spring on the back, so with the slightest vibration, the butts and boobs will "jiggle-jiggle" to life. And... that's it. No other function whatsoever.

Even Yostar CEO Hiroya Miwanoki couldn't help but quip, "Who even came up with this?!" and "How did this even get approved?!" The team behind the merch explicitly stated, "It truly has no practical use," "It's not like a phone ring that you can hold onto," and "It's purely for wobbling."
Hosts Mafia Kajita and voice actor Shinnosuke Tachibana were initially perplexed, exclaiming, "How could something like this possibly be practical?" But once they actually got their hands on them and gave them a wobble, they couldn't help but crack up, "Okay, this is actually pretty fun!" Meanwhile, the female voice actors present at the event were screaming throughout, completely overwhelmed.

Both the "wobbly butt" and "wobbly boob" phone stickers are priced at 3,850 JPY each. They are already available on the official Yostar store, with sales running from September 7th to October 5th. Shipping is expected to begin sequentially from February 2026.
As for *why* you'd buy them... well, even this editor isn't entirely sure. But they're probably going to sell like hotcakes... right?
