From September 20 to October 3, a limited run of 1.5 million "Film Companion Booklet ~Decisive Battle Arc~" will be distributed, immediately setting the internet ablaze.
According to the latest official box office update, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Castle Arc" has been out for 60 days, raking in over 33 billion yen in Japan and a staggering 68 billion yen worldwide, with over 55 million moviegoers flocking to theaters. The official team extended a huge shout-out to all the fans and the hard-working cinemas.
And that's not all! They also announced the latest bonus item: the "Film Companion Booklet ~Decisive Battle Arc~" (パンフレット副読本～決戦編～). This deluxe booklet is packed with art settings for the in-film locations and original drawings from various battle scenes. With 1.5 million copies available over a two-week period, its collector's value is sure to draw even more crowds.
Netizens are buzzing, with comments like: "Original drawings?! This is going to be super rare, right? And they prepared so many copies, was this planned all along?" "Wait, the bonus items aren't over yet?! How long is this movie going to run?" and "They're still dropping million-unit-level bonuses, that's insane!" Looks like everyone's ready to rush out and grab this luxurious perk.
Of course, there's still a ways to go to beat "Mugen Train"'s 40.7 billion yen box office. But with this global blockbuster phenomenon, stellar word-of-mouth, and the official team continuously dropping new bonus items, who knows? We might just see it climb to the top spot!
