This Fan Built Char's "Another World" Red Mobile Suits from GQuuuuuuX – And It's Pure Gunpla Genius!

If you're into Gunpla, you've probably dabbled in all sorts of customization techniques. Painting, cutting, weathering – these are all fantastic ways to make your models truly unique. Some even go as far as building mobile suits that only appeared in the anime but were never officially released as kits!

Recently, a Japanese X (formerly Twitter) user took on an epic challenge: recreating Char's "red mobile suits" from the final episode of "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," which appeared in various alternate universes. The results are incredibly accurate and have earned massive praise from netizens!

First, a quick refresher on "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" lore: The final episode reveals that the current universe was created by Lalah (Sharon's Rose) in a desperate attempt to prevent Char's death, continuously altering various cosmic timelines to stop him from being killed by the pilot of the white MS.

Across these countless universes, Char piloted an array of machines: the Gouf, Zudah, Bigro, Big-Zam, Galluss-J, and even the Sazabi (specifically, the Ikuto Yamashita version).

The Gunpla builder we're featuring today, GPO144 (@gpo144), titled his incredible display: "GQuuuuuuX Final Episode's 'Another World' Crew All Here!" He meticulously lined up all the red mobile suits that appeared in that climactic episode, perfectly mirroring the on-screen composition. From bottom to top, you can see the Gouf, Zudah, Bigro, Big-Zam, Galluss-J Alpha, and the legendary Ikuto Yamashita version of the Sazabi.

Look closely, and you'll realize this isn't just a simple red paint job. Each mobile suit features subtle modifications, making them truly "customized" units. Even more mind-blowing? Some of these kits were never officially released by Bandai, yet he somehow brought them to life!

After he posted his work, many netizens were curious about the origins of the parts: "The Gouf, Zudah, Bigro, and Big-Zam are understandable, but how did he modify the Galluss-J Alpha? And the Yamashita Sazabi is completely unrecognizable..."

GPO144 himself spilled the beans: The Gouf, Zudah, Bigro, and Big-Zam were all modified from existing kits. The Galluss-J Alpha was cleverly built from a Gyan. As for the Yamashita Sazabi, it was based on the Sinanju from "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn." Talk about some serious kitbashing wizardry!

Bringing animated scenes to life through Gunpla is a dream for many modelers, and GPO144 absolutely nailed it with this creative vision. If you're looking for some serious Gunpla modification inspiration, be sure to check out more of GPO144's 1/144 scale work on his X account!
