Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga masterpiece Chainsaw Man has hit the big screen with its first feature film, "Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc," and it's an absolute blockbuster. After premiering in Japan, the film has dominated the weekend box office for an incredible seven consecutive weeks, already raking in a massive 8 billion yen.
The official X account dropped a series of short interviews with the main voice cast, giving fans a peek into their favorite moments, what to watch for, and even their personal dreams!

Kikunosuke Toya (Denji)
"The action sequences in this movie are seriously next-level! The whole thing feels like a rollercoaster, and the impact is just insane!" He pointed to the festival fireworks scene as his favorite: "It's so romantic and has this feeling of, 'Ah, it's all about to begin!' It felt incredibly cinematic."
As for his dream, he laughed, "You can probably tell I'm pretty slim right now, right? I want to hit the gym and get more muscular. Pochita, make my dream come true!"

Tomori Kusunoki (Makima)
"Makima doesn't have a ton of screen time, but every appearance is crucial. I hope everyone pays attention to her scenes and doesn't just focus on Reze." Her favorite moment was Reze and Denji's night tour of the school. "But Makima and Denji's date in the movie was pretty good too... which one do you guys like more?"
When asked about her dream, she smiled and said, "I want to get a cool, super-short haircut, but I've never had the courage. I hope one day I can be the kind of girl who totally rocks short hair!"

Shogo Sakata (Aki Hayakawa)
"The whole film has this fast-paced yet unhurried rhythm—it's thrilling and emotional. It really is like a rollercoaster!" He also chose the festival fireworks scene as his favorite, adding with a laugh, "That brilliant moment is just unforgettable."
His dream? He said with a slight hesitation, "Well... I guess to travel the world! (laughs)"
Reina Ueda (Reze)
"This is a love story, but it's more than just that. The first and second halves will make your heart pound for different reasons!" The scene that stuck with her most was Reze walking towards the 'Futamichi' coffee shop. "That moment felt longer than I expected, and the music had such a unique vibe. The more I watch it, the more I love it."
She also shared her dream: "I want to make custom merchandise of my cat, like pillows or mugs! It would be amazing to have my own cat's merch at home."

Karin Takahashi (Kobeni Higashiyama)
"The music is incredible, and the plot has so many twists. It's totally a rollercoaster ride!" Her favorite scene was from the opening theme "IRIS OUT," specifically the part where Pochita is dancing. "It's just so cute!" she exclaimed.
Her dream is simple: "I hope Kobeni gets more scenes where she gets to shine! Haha!"

Maaya Uchida (Angel Devil)
"The end of the story has a touch of melancholy, and the emotional connection between Reze and Denji is just so delicately portrayed." Her favorite scene was when a badly injured Denji crawls out of the car and screams: "That moment is pure Denji at his best. No matter how many times I see it, it still gets my blood pumping!"
Her dream? "I want to try dyeing my hair blonde one day! I've never bleached it before, and I'm so curious to see what I'd look like as a blonde!"

Yuuya Uchida (Violence Fiend)
"I originally thought the main draw of the movie would be the fight scenes, but after watching it, I realized the most captivating part is how the distances between people change." He loved the scene where a character is crying in the movie theater: "They seem like opposite emotions, but they come from the same feeling. That part was brilliant."
His dream is "to travel slowly with the person I love, taking a few years to see the world properly."

The "Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc" hype isn't slowing down. Starting November 14, special "Cheer Screenings" will be held at seven theaters across five cities in Japan, including TOHO CINEMAS Ueno. Officials have also announced seven waves of theatrical giveaways for attendees, with only four having been released so far. With this momentum, the film might just slash its way to the 10 billion yen mark.
