When the Official Won't Do It, Fans Will! Japanese Fan Spends 1 Year, 2 Months Hand-Drawing a "Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam GHOST" Anime MV

Yuichi Hasegawa's "Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam" manga series has been around for over 30 years, yet it's never received an anime adaptation, leaving countless fans waiting in vain for their beloved series to hit the screen.

Recently, Japanese animator and X (formerly Twitter) user Chubou Chauyo (@tyuuboutyauyo) rallied fellow fans to hand-draw thousands of frames, creating an incredible anime music video for "Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam GHOST." The stunning quality has blown fans away and quickly gone viral!

Chubou Chauyo revealed that the entire animation took him a whopping one year and two months to complete, with 2,514 hand-drawn frames. Though the MV isn't long, it's a labor of love, fulfilling the dreams of "Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam" fans.

Since it's an MV, he also collaborated with the music group KINEMA106, using their track "ASTEROIDAL" to bring this masterpiece to life.

There's also a full-length music video available, though it primarily serves to fit the song and includes some repeated scenes.

Seeing a fan take it upon themselves to animate "Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam GHOST" in such a stunning way has deeply moved countless netizens. The intricate artwork is truly next-level and something only a dedicated few could pull off!

Of course, it's not like "Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam" is completely out of the running for an official anime. But a fan going this far to create their own animated MV just proves how much anticipation there is for this series!
