Well, get ready to have your mind blown by Japanese Gunpla builder ToMoS (@ToMoS_Qkit)! He took the iconic "Ball" Gunpla from "Mobile Suit Gundam" and transformed it into an absolutely wild "heavy motorcycle" that's gone viral on X. Netizens are losing it, wondering how Gunpla could even be played with like this!
ToMoS, a big fan of vintage Gunpla kits, previously made waves with his "animation-error style" builds.
This time, he tackled a 1/144 scale vintage Ball kit. The Ball, being essentially a spherical mobile pod with a cannon and manipulator arms, looks pretty basic and doesn't seem to offer much in the way of customization... or so you'd think!
But ToMoS, with his genius, managed to use two Balls to craft one seriously cool "heavy motorcycle." With each spherical body forming a wheel, it looks like a legitimate bike – there's absolutely no way you'd guess it started as a Ball!
Looking at the unpainted build photos, you can see Ball parts cleverly integrated throughout the frame. The suspension, for instance, uses the Ball's manipulator arms, while the front and rear wheel covers are the Ball's main spherical bodies themselves. It's an incredibly clever use of parts, a bold and creative modification that still subtly nods to the Ball's original features.

The finished piece is a vibrant blue mini-bike, sporting Earth Federation Force, BANDAI, and "79" markings, complete with Michelin decals. The whole design is ridiculously cool, looking just like a real heavy motorcycle. Simple in concept, yet bursting with playful creativity.
