If you've ever hit up Universal Studios Japan (USJ), you've probably been blown away by their incredible recreation of Bowser's Castle from the Super Mario universe – it's an iconic spot in the games, after all.
Well, a Japanese woodworking YouTuber known as "Chipa Kobo" decided to take things to the next level and actually "build" Bowser's Castle entirely out of wood! He uploaded the whole process to YouTube, and it immediately blew up. Netizens are absolutely losing it over his incredible craftsmanship, praising not just the faithful recreation but also the sheer presence of the piece – it's like he brought the game right into reality.

Chipa Kobo regularly shares his awesome handmade creations on social media, often blending woodworking and sculpting techniques to unleash his creativity, which has earned him a massive following.

This time, he took inspiration from the Universal Studios Japan design and challenged himself to craft a miniature Bowser's Castle. He kicked things off by tackling Bowser himself, grabbing all sorts of sanding and carving tools to aggressively shape raw blocks of wood.

Before long, Bowser's head, arms, and legs began to emerge from the once-square wooden blocks. He then meticulously assembled the separately crafted parts into a complete body, even making the shell out of wood! By curving segmented pieces, he perfectly recreated that iconic "turtle shell" look.

Every part of the body was carefully sanded into smooth, rounded lines, achieving a level of finish that makes it look nothing like a wooden object. Not only is the sculpting spot-on, but the coloring is also phenomenal, resulting in a Bowser figure that looks like a vibrant, store-bought model.

Next, he laid out fragmented pieces of wood to form the "ground" and officially began constructing the castle. He first assembled the castle's base with wooden planks, then painted thin, grooved wooden sheets gray. Once applied to the surface, the whole thing instantly took on the feel of a "stone castle."

He stacked circular pieces layer by layer to create the gate towers, then pieced together a ton of intricate parts to form the Bowser-faced main gate. He even recreated the Bowser's Minions flags by curving and carving wood! Seriously, this is all wood – it's absolutely wild...

Finally, with the emblem in place, the wooden Bowser's Castle was officially complete! The paint job perfectly captures the textures of stone and metal, giving the entire piece an imposing presence. You'd never guess it's made of wood – even Bowser himself looks like he's nodding in approval.

Watching the castle come together step-by-step, netizens flooded the comments with reactions like: "Every single part is so incredible I can only say 'incredible' (lol)," "Even the fabric is made of wood, that's insane," "Bowser watching his castle being built is so cute lol," "Love the strong craftsman vibe," and "One person could probably put on an entire Super Mario exhibition!"
