Japanese figure manufacturer WINGS inc. recently announced their latest product from the popular mobile game "Azur Lane": the "Musashi" (武蔵) 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted figure! Both a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition will be released simultaneously, with suggested retail prices of 33,300 JPY and 41,000 JPY (tax included) respectively. Shipping is scheduled to begin in April 2027.
In the world of "Azur Lane," Musashi is a UR-class battleship belonging to the Sakura Empire faction. Her prototype is the Imperial Japanese Navy's Yamato-class battleship, Musashi, the second ship of her class. She is a powerful character obtainable only through construction during the limited-time event "Violet Tempest, Blooming Lycoris." Her default in-game illustration depicts a large-breasted beautiful girl with fox ears, dressed in a purple-black miko outfit, and equipped with a katana. With her strong maternal charm, formidable combat power, and skills, Musashi remains one of the top choices for players' fleets to this day.
This rendition of Musashi, crafted faithfully to her illustration, stands approximately 30 cm tall. It not only perfectly recreates her gorgeous and intricate attire and smooth, long purple-black hair, but also meticulously details her fair and delicate skin, her strikingly prominent bust line, flawless long legs, as well as her fox ears and tail. Coupled with the gleaming metallic golden chains and magatama, even the standard version exudes a substantial presence. The Deluxe Edition further enhances this by including a katana, armor, and a long sword adorned with purple lightning effects, creating an astonishingly powerful display when combined.
