A new 1/6.5 scale figure product from the 《FINAL FANTASY》 series, a collaboration between SQUARE ENIX and Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY, has announced the latest product from 《FINAL FANTASY XII》, "Fran", is scheduled for release in March 2027.
Fran is a Viera from Eruyt Village in the Golmore Jungle. Doubting her people's precept to "remain with the forest," she yearned for freedom and chose to leave the forest 50 years ago in pursuit of it. Although she gradually lost the Viera's ability to hear the "Voice of the Wood," she still possesses exceptional swordsmanship and archery skills. After meeting Balthier, who shared a similar fate, the two became an excellent sky pirate duo.
The "Fran 1/6.5 Scale Figure" is crafted in a large size, standing approximately 33 cm tall, depicting Fran in a standing pose with her bow and arrow resting on her shoulder, faithfully recreating the official character introduction page's illustration. The sculpting meticulously captures her light and fluffy ponytail hairstyle and the fuzzy texture of her rabbit ears. Her full-body light armor, which incorporates rabbit motifs, is not only finished in a cast-iron-like jet black but also reproduces the uneven cast texture and ornate totem reliefs on its surface. The sheer fabric on her abdomen is rendered with transparent parts, allowing her abdominal lines to be subtly visible.
However, the facial sculpting shows a noticeable difference compared to the official original artwork. The shapes of the eyes, nose, and lips are much rounder, lacking the cool, heroic demeanor present in the original work.
