The alloy action figure series "HAGANE WORKS", released by Japan's Good Smile Company, has officially announced its latest product from the classic anime "Madou King", the "King's Style Super Granzort", slated for release in November 2026.
Madou King "King's Style" is an original style product series unveiled by Good Smile Company starting in 2024. The design is handled by Mr. Jeon, the representative toy designer of Korea's GOD BRAVE STUDIO. It reinterprets the original settings by incorporating a large number of modern popular elements, not only making the head-to-body ratio taller and more stylish but also adding more three-dimensional layers to the previously flat armor design. This "King's Style Super Granzort" also continues the design style of "MODEROID King’s Style Granzort", featuring engraved grooves, sharpened lines, and shoulder designs resembling heat sinks, enhancing the imagery of fire's heat and a king's presence.
The "HAGANE WORKS King's Style Super Granzort" is crafted with an imposing design, standing approximately 21 cm tall. It boasts high-density detailed sculpting, distinct from the original's refined look. The red and white sections of the body feature a heavy-textured color application, combined with electroplated and clear parts to showcase the magnificent golden armor and the internal magic circle structure visible through the chest.
Super Granzort's head features a built-in LED light-up mechanism; bringing a magnetic switch accessory close to the head illuminates its green eyes. Most of the body's joints are made of alloy, combined with pull-out joint designs in various sections, allowing for flexible articulation to pose dynamic battle stances. The hands feature fully articulated fingers. The "Zora Crown" on its back is equipped with an original unfolding mechanism that changes shape, allowing transformation from battle mode to face mode without needing to swap parts.
Accessories include the impressively sized dedicated weapon, the "Super Flame Emperor Sword". Not only does it recreate the transformation mechanism at the hilt, but the blade can also be combined with effect parts to reproduce the state of being enveloped in Madou power flames. The magic circle-shaped display stand allows for showcasing the face mode in a floating state, with a stand at the back for displaying the Super Flame Emperor Sword and effect parts.
