Universal Studios Hollywood in California kicked off a limited-time Sailor Moon collaboration event on April 23rd local time, featuring the attraction "Sailor Moon The Miracle: Moon Palace Chapter Deluxe," along with a slew of exclusive merchandise and food items.
But what's got everyone buzzing is the park-exclusive "Sailor Moon Bento," which has surprised and delighted many Japanese fans, earning praise for the park's creativity.

The bento's contents... seriously look like something straight out of the manga! The park's Mexican restaurant, "Cocina Mexicana," is serving up this "Sailor Moon Bento" (approximately 3,000 JPY), which includes:
・Spicy Tuna Onigiri
・Potato Salad
・Pickled Cucumber
・Octopus-shaped Sausage
Overall, it's a classic "Japanese bento," and rumor has it, it's inspired by the lunches made by Sailor Jupiter, Makoto Kino, with dishes referencing those seen in the series.

Once the contents were revealed, netizens absolutely exploded with comments like: "That's SO Japanese, I can't believe America did this lol," "I really want to try it!", "Onigiri and pickled cucumbers in America, what?!", "This is exactly like the bentos from the show!", and "Please release this in Japan too!"
▼ Makoto Kino often brings her own bento in the series, and her cooking skills are arguably the best among the group, a stark contrast to her tall and strong appearance. Her homemade bentos are frequently devoured by Usagi Tsukino, a testament to how delicious they are.

There's also a combo set available, which adds a Moonlight Love Fruit Soda and a Raspberry Rose Sandwich Cookie.

The main attraction itself is a performance-based experience that originally debuted at Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in 2022, now adapted with subtitles for its U.S. release. There are also live character meet-and-greets where you can interact and take photos with the characters.
As for whether the much-talked-about bento is actually tasty, well, you'll just have to go try it for yourself! XD
