"Comic World 331" recently hit Busan, South Korea, and one cosplayer absolutely stole the show by perfectly embodying Kikuri Hiroi from "Bocchi the Rock!" 
Korean cosplayer Ninya (@ninya__mon) brought the perpetually tipsy, delightfully disheveled, and utterly charming "drunk older sister" Kikuri Hiroi to life. Given that Kikuri is notorious in the anime for her love of booze, her frequent drunken stupors, and her habit of passing out just about anywhere, Ninya truly committed, sprawling out "unconscious" on the convention floor.
What happened next was pure gold: instead of looking out of place, Ninya's dedication to the role was so spot-on that attendees, upon seeing "Hiroi-senpai" passed out, spontaneously started placing drinks and snacks around her – almost like a bizarre, impromptu offering. When she finally woke up, she was surrounded by a full circle of "tributes." The scene was both hilarious and adorable, with many netizens joking that Kikuri herself had somehow warped into reality.

Ninya later shared the full story on X. She had initially planned to film a timelapse video, recreating the iconic scene where Hitori Bocchi first encounters Kikuri Hiroi. But as she tried to stay still for the shot, battling the urge to move and then the overwhelming sleepiness, she eventually succumbed and genuinely fell asleep right there!
Waking up to a sea of drinks and snacks, she was completely shocked, calling the experience both unexpected and incredibly touching. She also expressed immense gratitude for everyone's appreciation of her cosplay and their love for the character.
