Japanese company UNION CREATIVE (ユニオンクリエイティブ) has launched a new product in its popular "Swimsuit Series" (水着シリーズ) based on the anime "To Love-Ru Darkness" – the "Golden Darkness" 1/4 scale pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 39,600 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in November 2026!
The "To Love-Ru" series story revolves around the love triangle between protagonist Rito Yuuki and the two main heroines, Lala and Haruna. Golden Darkness is a universe-renowned shapeshifting assassin in the series, initially commissioned by Lala to assassinate Rito. After discovering she was deceived about the commission, she decided to stay on Earth, claiming Rito was still her assassination target.
This 1/4 scale pre-painted figure of Golden Darkness brings her swimsuit-clad form to life in a large size, standing approximately 38.6 cm tall. The sculpting beautifully captures her slender and elongated body curves, with the abdominal muscle lines and the supple fleshiness created by the arm and thigh straps meticulously reproduced. Details such as her curled toes, flowing golden hair, and left hand pulling at her strap add a dynamic touch to the static standing pose. The matte fair skin creates a striking visual contrast with the glossy bikini, and combined with her tsundere expression, perfectly showcases Golden Darkness's charm!
