FuRyu Prize, the prize figure division of Japanese company FuRyu, has officially announced on their X account a new addition to their popular "Noodle Stopper Figure" series: Kankichi Ryotsu from "KochiKame: Tokyo Beat Cops." This new prize figure is slated for release in October 2026.
"KochiKame: Tokyo Beat Cops" is a manga series by Osamu Akimoto, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 1976 to 2016, making it the longest-running series in Jump's history. The story follows the hilarious daily life of police officer Kankichi Ryotsu at the Kameari Koen-mae Police Box and the people around him. From 1996 to 2004, STUDIO GALLOP adapted the manga into a TV anime, which many collectors still consider a classic "mealtime anime" to this day!
