Despite a significant portion of the cast for the highly anticipated "Avengers: Doomsday" already being announced, Marvel Studios has kept further details under wraps, teasing more unrevealed talent. This has fueled widespread speculation about additional appearances and potential new cast members. The latest reports now indicate that Natalie Portman, returning as Jane Foster, and Idris Elba, as Heimdall, both from the "Thor" franchise, are set to join the ensemble.

According to prominent entertainment scooper MyTimeToShineHello, Portman and Elba's appearances will be brief cameos, reportedly limited to the film's climactic final battle. They are expected to assist Thor in his confrontation with Doctor Doom and his Doomsday Legion. The intriguing aspect, however, is that both Jane Foster (as Mighty Thor) and Heimdall previously died, with their souls having ascended to Valhalla. This raises considerable speculation among fans about how they will return to aid the heroes – whether as spectral figures, or perhaps as variants from alternate timelines.
