"BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!" Donates "Tomori Takamatsu" Manhole Cover, Set for Installation at Ikebukuro Station West Exit This Summer

Bushiroad's multimedia juggernaut, BanG Dream!, is gearing up for another exciting season! Following the success of its previous TV anime series, "It's MyGO!!!!!" and "Ave Mujica," fans can look forward to the latest installment, "BanG Dream! YUME∞MITA," premiering this July.

In a move sure to delight fans, Bushiroad recently announced the donation of an original manhole cover featuring Tomori Takamatsu from "It's MyGO!!!!!" to Tokyo's Toshima Ward. The official donation ceremony took place on June 10th. This unique manhole cover is slated for installation near Ikebukuro Station's West Exit (Central Exit) sometime between late June and mid-July.

Ikebukuro, along with other locations throughout Toshima Ward, plays a crucial role as a setting in the "BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!" anime. It's where the characters meet, grapple with challenges, grow, and kick off their band activities, making Ikebukuro a truly special place for both the series and its dedicated fanbase.

With strong support from Toshima Ward, Bushiroad created this original manhole cover design, aiming to boost local appeal and offer fans a deeper connection to the series through "pilgrimages" to real-world locations and city strolls.

Adding to the excitement, Hina Yomiya, the voice actress for Tomori Takamatsu in the anime, personally attended the donation ceremony, marking this memorable occasion.

Once installed, fans visiting Ikebukuro can not only explore the anime's various real-world settings but also make a pilgrimage to this exclusive manhole cover, turning it into a fresh photo-op spot. Bushiroad also stated its commitment to continue deepening collaborations between entertainment properties and local communities, aiming to inject more vibrancy and buzz into cities.

So, if you ever find yourself in Ikebukuro, keep an eye out for this special Tomori Takamatsu-themed manhole cover!

P.S. This manhole cover actually made a sneak peek appearance at Anime Japan 2026 back in late March!
