The Rolling Stones Team Up With Marvel for Limited-Edition 'Foreign Tongues' Vinyl Covers Featuring Wolverine, Spider-Man & More

Legendary British rock band The Rolling Stones are set to release their 25th studio album, "Foreign Tongues," and ahead of its launch, the band has announced a collaboration with Marvel Comics for a series of limited-edition vinyl and comic book collector's bundles, giving the new record a major pop culture crossover debut.

The original cover for "Foreign Tongues," created by American painter Nathaniel Mary Quinn, was revealed on May 2, 2026. Titled "Trinity," the artwork merges the faces of Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards, and Mick Jagger into a single entity. However, the cover received mixed reactions, making the new Marvel collaboration an exciting alternative for fans.

This limited-edition "Foreign Tongues" Marvel vinyl and comic book collection features five variants, each priced at $70 and themed around Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, the Hulk, or Wolverine. Every bundle includes a corresponding "What If...?" comic book. The collaboration is officially described as bringing the Stones' iconic tongue logo into the Marvel Universe, merging rock and roll with superhero culture through exclusive comics and character-driven covers.

Each variant offers a striking visual: Wolverine slashes his claws in front of the tongue logo, Spider-Man weaves the icon from his webs, Thor summons it with lightning, and Captain America smashes through a logo-covered wall. The Hulk version channels a Jim Steranko-esque style, showing the green goliath lifting a Rolling Stones tour bus on the banks of the River Thames, with Westminster Bridge and the Houses of Parliament visible in the background.

The 14-track album, "Foreign Tongues," was produced by Andrew Watt and recorded at Metropolis Studios in West London. These limited-edition bundles are currently available for order via Complex and will later be available on The Rolling Stones' official website.
