Noted entertainment scooper MyTimeToShineHello recently revealed several new casting rumors circulating within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Among them, Marvel Studios is reportedly looking to cast Connor Storrie (pictured left), the breakout star of the BL series "Heated Rivalry," as Hulkling, an alien member of the Champions team.

In the comics, Hulkling is a Kree and Skrull hybrid, possessing superpowers such as self-healing and shapeshifting. Hulkling is also established as a gay character in the comics, which may be a factor in Marvel's interest in Storrie. This could be an effort to align the character with Storrie's on-screen image or simply a recognition of his strong performances in LGBTQ+ roles.
Another casting rumor pertains to the new "X-Men" film. British-Korean actor Charles Melton (pictured above), who has risen to prominence in recent years with roles in "Riverdale" and the second season of "Beef," is reportedly in negotiations for an unspecified role. While MyTimeToShineHello did not disclose the specific character, fellow entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider directly reported on his paid blog, The InSneider, that Melton is vying for the role of Beast.
