TAITO Corporation (株式会社タイトー) in Japan has unveiled a new "Aisaka Taiga" prize figure from their popular "Desktop Cute" series, based on the hit anime "TIGER×DRAGON!", announced via their official X account.
"TIGER×DRAGON!" (Toradora!) is a light novel series written by Yuyuko Takemiya and illustrated by Yasu. It was adapted into an anime by J.C.STAFF in 2008. The story follows the kind-hearted but intimidating-looking male protagonist, Ryuji Takasu, and the short-tempered, petite female protagonist, Aisaka Taiga, famously known as the "Palmtop Tiger." Their romantic school comedy unfolds as they form an unlikely alliance after realizing they both have crushes on each other's best friends.
For this Desktop Cute release, Taiga is sculpted in a tiger-striped bikini, complete with tiger ears, gloves, and a tail. The sculpt intricately captures the subtle muscle definition of her abdomen and the soft, realistic fleshiness of her legs, gently compressed by her over-the-knee white socks. Her long hair, crafted with clear parts and paintwork, creates a translucent visual effect under light.
