Good Smile Company and Max Factory, co-developers of the "PLAMATEA" character model kit series, have announced the re-release of the "Cutie Honey" model kit from "Cutie Honey Nova," slated for November 2026.
"Cutie Honey Nova" is a new project launched in 2024 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Go Nagai's iconic manga, "Cutie Honey." This collaborative effort by Dynamic Planning, Hobby Japan, and Good Smile Company features character redesigns by artist Nadare Takamine. The following year, manga artist Naoto Tsushima began serializing a new manga of the same name on Hobby Japan Web. Good Smile Company's "PLAMATEA" series then kicked off in 2026 with model kits for Cutie Honey and other key characters from the series.
This release features the titular "Cutie Honey," the transformed form of the series protagonist, Honey Kisaragi. The kit utilizes multiple pre-colored parts and some pre-painted parts, assembling into a stunning 17cm tall figure. It faithfully recreates Nadare Takamine's design, showcasing her voluptuous curves and a brand-new exterior that seamlessly blends mechanical elements. The sculpt meticulously details the navel, while clear parts are strategically used for sections of the chest and thigh armor, adding to its striking appearance.
The kit comes packed with a variety of interchangeable hand parts, four different pre-painted face plates, and an additional four blank face plates for custom expressions using water-slide decals. For weaponry, Cutie Honey is equipped with a rapier, a greatsword, a boomerang, and two pistols. The boomerang can be disassembled into two separate blades, and the dual pistols can transform into twin blades. Combined with the figure's highly articulated joints, collectors can pose Cutie Honey in a wide array of dynamic, cool, and sexy combat stances.
