Marvel Studios recently dropped the second official trailer for the MCU's "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," which not only showcased new footage of Tom Holland's Spider-Man but also revealed the debut of Savage Hulk. This trailer once again brought Sadie Sink's mysterious character into the spotlight.

Ever since Sadie Sink joined the film's cast, speculation has swirled around her character's identity, with the most popular theory suggesting she could be playing X-Men member Jean Grey. While the first trailer deliberately obscured her, the second trailer, at the 0:56 mark, features a silhouette of her in a hooded outfit, seemingly using telekinetic abilities. Although her identity remains officially unconfirmed, this glimpse is far more revealing than before.
Another shot at 0:59 shows her powers seemingly erupting on a larger scale, creating a telekinetic wave that affects multiple individuals and disrupts Peter Parker's judgment. The trailer also hints that she might mistake Peter for an enemy pursuing her, leading her to attack him.

Notably, The Punisher appears unaffected by these abilities, fueling earlier rumors that Frank Castle might be protecting her from falling into the hands of Damage Control. If this theory holds true, Damage Control could emerge as an early antagonistic force in the MCU's mutant storyline.
Later in the trailer, there are hints that Sadie Sink's character might be connected to Savage Hulk's rampage, possibly even unleashing him, causing the original Avenger to turn on Spider-Man. Given that Sink is confirmed as the third-billed actor in the film, many believe she won't be a one-off character.

Marvel Studios is currently keeping details under wraps, but this marketing strategy has successfully made her the biggest talking point of the entire trailer. If she is indeed playing Jean Grey, her appearance could not only impact the main plot of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" but also mark a significant beginning for the MCU's mutant saga.
