BANDAI SPIRITS' BANPRESTO brand is set to release a new "Meruem" prize figure from the popular anime "HUNTER×HUNTER" under its Grandista series, known for its large scale and intricate details. This new collectible is slated for release as a prize item in January 2027!
Born with overwhelming power, speed, and intellect, the Chimera Ant King Meruem is considered the ultimate lifeform of the Chimera Ant race. He gains the abilities and fragmented memories of those he consumes, evolving rapidly with exceptional learning capabilities. His encounter with the human girl Komugi gradually transforms his emotions and values, leading him to a new understanding of power, life, and equality.
This Grandista figure, standing approximately 23 cm tall, powerfully captures the Ant King's imposing presence. It faithfully recreates Meruem's robust musculature and distinctive exoskeleton-like body features. Gradient painting techniques enhance the three-dimensional depth of his abdominal muscles, arms, and legs. His dynamically curved tail conveys a strong sense of speed and tension, while his poised, ready-to-strike side profile, combined with an oppressive gaze, perfectly embodies his all-commanding king's aura!
