Leading US toy manufacturer Hasbro recently announced a new licensing partnership with Nintendo, bringing forth exciting new products from the popular "The Legend of Zelda" video game series! Kicking off the brand-new 6-inch action figure line, dubbed "Heroes of Hyrule," the first wave features three new releases from "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom": "Link," "Princess Zelda," and "Ganondorf," all slated for an early May 2027 release!
Ganondorf serves as the ultimate antagonist in "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" and is the chieftain of the Gerudo tribe. After seizing the Secret Stone, he transformed into the Demon King, leading hordes of monsters in a war against Hyrule, only to be ultimately sealed beneath Hyrule Castle by Rauru. Years later, the seal was broken, and he was resurrected, spreading Gloom to corrupt the world. In his final act, he consumed the Secret Stone, transforming into a terrifying Demon Dragon, setting the stage for the climactic battle with Link that would decide the fate of Hyrule.
Standing approximately 15 cm (6 inches) tall, the "The Legend of Zelda: Heroes of Hyrule Ganondorf" figure masterfully recreates his ambitious and imposing presence. Featuring multiple points of articulation, his metallic ornaments are faithfully reproduced through intricate separate parts and detailed paint applications. He comes equipped with his signature weapon, the Gloom Sword, along with interchangeable hands for various poses. The sword's scabbard can be attached to his relaxed hand, and both his neck and hair feature articulated joints for dynamic display options.
