US toy giant Hasbro recently announced a new licensing partnership with Nintendo, bringing forth an exciting lineup of products from the beloved "The Legend of Zelda" video game series! Kicking off the brand new 6-inch action figure line, dubbed "Heroes of Hyrule," the first wave features three new releases from "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom": "Link," "Princess Zelda," and "Ganondorf." These figures are slated for an early May 2027 release!
Link serves as the protagonist of "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" and the valiant hero safeguarding Hyrule. After losing his right arm and the Master Sword while investigating underground ruins, he gains new abilities from Rauru's Arm, embarking on a quest to reforge the Master Sword, rescue Princess Zelda, and confront the Demon King Ganondorf.
The "The Legend of Zelda: Heroes of Hyrule Link" figure stands approximately 15 cm (6 inches) tall and boasts around 20 points of articulation, offering excellent poseability. His facial sculpt accurately captures his in-game appearance, with intricate paint applications faithfully recreating the complex color separation across his body. The damaged sleeve detail on his right "Rauru's Arm" is meticulously reproduced, and he comes with an open-hand alternate hand for utilizing "Ultrahand" abilities.
