Bandai SPIRITS' popular prize lottery series, Ichiban Kuji, is expanding its lineup with the new "Ichiban Kuji Chokotto" branch. This sub-series is set to launch a charming new collection featuring various beloved characters from San-X, titled "San-X Universe." Each draw will be priced at 550 JPY, with the collection scheduled to debut on September 16, 2026.
The "Ichiban Kuji Chokotto" series aims to make collecting character merchandise more accessible and enjoyable. Compared to the standard Ichiban Kuji, it boasts a more budget-friendly price point, faster release schedule, and the convenience of being available for draws both physically and through the Ichiban Kuji ONLINE platform, with shipping costs often half the usual rate. This allows collectors to experience the thrill of the lottery at a more approachable price!
San-X, a Japanese stationery company founded in 1932, is renowned for its adorable original characters printed on stationery products. Many '90s and 2000s collectors will fondly remember iconic characters like Rilakkuma, Tarepanda, and Kogepan. The upcoming "San-X Universe" collection will feature a variety of themed prizes centered around these popular characters. The A-Prize has been revealed early: a delightful Rilakkuma Mesh Embroidered Pouch. This charming pouch features a translucent mesh material on the front, adorned with a simply cute Rilakkuma design created using intricate embroidery. Measuring 11 cm, it's perfectly sized for storing cosmetics and various small personal items. Further details on the remaining prizes are eagerly anticipated and will be announced soon!
