PLEX, a Japanese company renowned for its high-quality, large-scale GIGANTIC SERIES figures, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the film "Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack" with a new release: the "Godzilla (2001) 25th Anniversary Ver." This impressive figure is priced at 78,100 JPY and is slated for an October 2026 release!
"Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack" tells the story of Godzilla's vengeful return to Japan, this time possessed by the vengeful spirits of those who died in the Pacific War. Nearly invulnerable, humanity's only hope lies in uniting with the three Guardian Monsters: Baragon, Mothra, and King Ghidorah, to defeat him.
The new "Godzilla (2001) 25th Anniversary Ver." painted finished product reuses the sculpt from the 2013 version, now featuring a fresh paint application. This massive figure stands approximately 40 cm tall and measures an impressive 78 cm long! The intricate sculpting faithfully recreates Godzilla's rough skin texture, sharp claws, menacing face, and gaping maw. The paintwork meticulously reproduces his iconic white eyes and yellowed teeth. For this 25th-anniversary edition, special weathering effects have been added across the entire body, echoing the intense battle scenes from the film and perfectly capturing the destructive power of the "white-eyed destroyer" as seen on the big screen!
