Good Smile Company, renowned for its popular "Nendoroid" series, has announced the upcoming release of its latest product from the beloved virtual YouTuber group "hololive production": IRyS. This highly anticipated Nendoroid is slated for release in December 2026.
Originally part of Hololive's VSinger project, Project: HOPE, IRyS later merged with the EN Gen 2 "Council" group in 2023 to form "Promise." Her lore describes her as a "Nephilim," a half-angel, half-demon hybrid. Due to unique circumstances, IRyS's original L2D model was semi-permanently sealed a year after her debut, replaced by her current, beautifully re-drawn L2D. She is celebrated for her exceptional singing talent and fluent bilingualism in both Japanese and English, allowing her to communicate seamlessly across both the JP and EN branches.
The "Nendoroid IRyS" stands approximately 10 cm tall, faithfully recreating her updated L2D design. Her intricate and gorgeous styling is brought to life with complex paintwork and detailed articulated parts. Her signature wings are attached to her flowing long hair, capturing their ethereal, floating appearance as per her design. The Nendoroid comes with three distinct face plates: a "smiling face," a "grinning face," and a "winking face," all showcasing her distinctive star-shaped pupils. Accessories include her signature "Hope Soda" energy drink, a microphone essential for any VSinger, and her adorable mascots "Bloom & Gloom." A variety of hand parts are also included for dynamic posing, along with the special base typical of the Hololive Nendoroid series.
