Japanese capsule toy brand TOYS CABIN has announced a brand new "MECCHA CHAMELEON Wakka Charm" capsule toy series, based on the hit game "MECCHA CHAMELEON." The collection features 7 unique designs, transforming the game's iconic, shape-shifting player avatars into adorable 3D charms. Each capsule will retail for 300 JPY and is slated for a November release.
Launched on Steam in June, "MECCHA CHAMELEON" is a multiplayer hide-and-seek party game where players must strategically color their initially white bodies, then utilize various poses and environmental structures to blend seamlessly into their surroundings. The title quickly became a streaming and multiplayer phenomenon, with official reports in early July confirming cumulative sales of 1.5 million units. The game recently expanded its content with the addition of the "HIKAKIN Museum" collaboration map, featuring Japanese YouTuber HIKAKIN, offering even more ways for players to outwit each other.
