Chinese model brand CANG-TOYS is set to release the latest model kit in its original mecha series, "World of Gods Battle," featuring "Nuwa NVWA." The kit will officially launch on July 27, 2026, with a suggested retail price of 188 Chinese Yuan.
"Nuwa" is one of the most significant deities in ancient Chinese mythology, widely known for her legends of creating humanity from clay and mending the heavens with five-colored stones. She stands as one of the most iconic mythological figures in Chinese civilization. In traditional Chinese myths, Nuwa is often depicted with a serpentine lower body, symbolizing her deep connection to all creation. This new product reinterprets the mythological imagery of a human head and snake body into a mecha design, blending mythological aesthetics with modern robot engineering.
The standout feature of this model is its three-stage transformation mechanism: Humanoid Form (a complete upright human figure), Half-Serpentine Form (where the lower body transforms into a snake), and Full-Serpentine Form (with the upper body also adopting serpentine structures). These three forms can be freely switched, fully embodying Nuwa's unique mythological image as both human and snake. To ensure stability and articulation across all forms, the model utilizes an alloy inner frame, a rare feature in model kits that provides both strength and smooth poseability.
The kit comes with a rich array of accessories: For weaponry, it includes the "Bow of Mending Heaven," echoing Nuwa's legend of repairing the sky; the "Creation Yin-Yang Blade," inspired by the concept of Yin and Yang; and the "Spear of Primordial Beginning," evoking Nuwa's epic creation myth. Also included are four backpack light wings, a Bagua display base, and a snake-shaped drone called "Ru She," making the entire display scene even more complete and spectacular.
The same series also features "Fuxi FUXI" (188 Chinese Yuan). Fuxi and Nuwa are revered as the "Ancestors of Humanity" in Chinese mythology. Displaying both figures side-by-side completes the iconic duo of creation siblings (or husband and wife) from Chinese myth.
