Hong Kong's renowned toy brand Hot Toys has officially revealed its latest offering from the upcoming Marvel superhero film, "Avengers: Doomsday": a 1/6 scale collectible figure of "Doctor Doom." The figure will be available in two editions: the Early Access Version and the Ultimate Version. Pricing and release dates are expected to be announced soon!
"Avengers: Doomsday" marks the fifth installment in the Avengers saga, with a theatrical release scheduled for December 16, 2026. This highly anticipated film will not only feature a host of familiar Avengers faces but also integrate characters from the X-Men and Fantastic Four universes. Adding to the excitement, Robert Downey Jr., known for his iconic portrayal of Tony Stark/Iron Man, is set to return as Doctor Doom, promising an epic and unexpected storyline!
In the comics, Doctor Doom's true identity is Victor Von Doom, one of the Marvel Universe's most brilliant and notorious villains. A master of both science and sorcery, he secretly rules the Eastern European nation of "Latveria."
Beyond all the accessories included with the Early Access Version—such as effect parts, a magic tome, and various hand sculpts—the ultimate highlight of the "Doctor Doom Ultimate Version" is undoubtedly the colossal Sentinel hand base he stands upon! This intricately sculpted base captures the damaged and twisted appearance of the massive mechanical hand, complete with a light-up function that can switch between yellow and green, elevating Doctor Doom's imposing presence to another level. Furthermore, mysterious additional accessories are slated for future reveal!
Pre-orders for this product through select retailers will also receive an exclusive bonus metal ring.
