Renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has officially revealed its latest offering from the upcoming Marvel superhero film, "Avengers: Doomsday": the "Doctor Doom" 1/6th scale collectible figure. It will be available in two versions: the Early Access Version and the Ultimate Version. Pricing and release dates are expected to be announced soon!
"Avengers: Doomsday" marks the fifth installment in the Avengers saga, set to premiere in theaters nationwide on December 16, 2026. This highly anticipated film will not only feature a host of familiar Avengers faces but also integrate characters from the X-Men and Fantastic Four universes. Adding to the excitement, Robert Downey Jr., known for his iconic portrayal of Iron Man's Tony Stark, is slated to return as Doctor Doom, promising an epic and unexpected storyline!
In the comics, Doctor Doom's true identity is Victor Von Doom, one of the Marvel Universe's most brilliant and formidable villains. A master of both science and sorcery, he secretly rules the Eastern European nation of Latveria.
The "Doctor Doom Early Access Version" captures his appearance from the film's trailer, presenting him as a silver armored figure draped in a green robe. His classic iron mask features menacing eyes, equipped with the articulated eye system typical of Hot Toys' live-action figures, allowing for adjustable gaze. The fabric cape is wired internally, enabling dynamic, flowing poses. Hot Toys has meticulously recreated Doctor Doom's intricate costume using various textured fabrics. Accessories include two different magic effects, a spellbook with turnable pages, and three interchangeable hand sculpts, all designed to create powerful and expressive poses with the included specialized display base. Collectors can also pair him with the separately sold Throne for an even grander display.
