Premier collectible manufacturer Hot Toys has unveiled its latest 1/6 scale collectible figure from the upcoming Marvel superhero film "Avengers: Doomsday": the "Magneto" 1/6 scale collectible action figure. It will be available in both a standard edition and a Deluxe Version, with pricing and release dates to be announced soon!
"Avengers: Doomsday" marks the fifth installment in the Avengers saga, set to premiere in theaters worldwide on December 18, 2026. Beyond the return of numerous familiar Avengers faces and Robert Downey Jr.'s announced comeback as Doctor Doom, a major highlight is the addition of several prominent actors from past X-Men films to the cast. The long-awaited Avengers x X-Men crossover, a dream for comic fans, is finally becoming a reality on the big screen!
The "Magneto 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure (Deluxe Version)" stands approximately 30 cm tall. It meticulously recreates the character's new cinematic appearance, based on the legendary actor Sir Ian McKellen, who has portrayed Magneto multiple times. The head sculpt exquisitely captures Sir Ian's facial contours, faithfully rendering the marks of age. The eyes feature articulation, allowing for an adjustable gaze. Real wool hair is used to delicately replicate the light gray, wavy strands peeking out from beneath his iconic helmet. His film-accurate costume is reproduced with exquisite tailoring, and the cape includes embedded wires for dynamic posing. It comes with three pairs of interchangeable hands and a specially designed figure stand. Furthermore, the Deluxe Version includes a massive battle-damaged Sentinel robot base, intricately detailing the torn and mangled head of a Sentinel, complete with an LED light-up function in its eyes to enhance the display's impact!
Pre-ordering through select retailers will also include a special bonus metallic ring.
