BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand BANPRESTO has officially revealed a new addition to its popular "THE AMAZING HEROES" line for the hit anime "My Hero Academia": the "Izuku Midoriya (10th Anniversary)" figure, set to release as a prize item in December 2026 to commemorate the anime's 10th anniversary!
"My Hero Academia" is a manga series by Kohei Horikoshi, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2014 to 2025. It tells the story of Izuku Midoriya, a Quirkless protagonist in a world where nearly everyone possesses superpowers called "Quirks." After inheriting the "One For All" Quirk from the No. 1 Hero All Might, Izuku enrolls in the prestigious U.A. High School, striving to become the greatest hero alongside his classmates.
This "Izuku Midoriya (10th Anniversary)" prize figure stands approximately 18 cm tall, bringing to life Izuku's dynamic pose from the cover of the manga's final volume (Volume 42). The sculpt meticulously captures the intricate folds and details of Deku's hero costume, mirroring All Might's iconic stance from the very first manga volume. Even the All Might T-shirt he wears during the final battle is faithfully reproduced. The paint application expertly renders the scars on his hands and face, and a subtle light effect is airbrushed onto his head, replicating the cover illustration. Combined with his radiant smile, the figure perfectly encapsulates the aura of the "greatest hero." Furthermore, this figure can be displayed alongside the simultaneously revealed "All Might (10th Anniversary)" figure, which is based on the Volume 1 cover, creating a powerful display that celebrates the enduring legacy of "My Hero Academia."
