TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has unveiled the latest details for their upcoming "Cavalier Ifrit" from the theatrical film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," joining the "METAL ROBOT Spirits" series, known for its metallic finishes and die-cast frames. This highly anticipated release is slated for December 2026, with pre-orders opening soon on Bandai's official online store, Premium Bandai.
The AMGS-X18P Cavalier Ifrit is a mobile suit support unit utilized by the Orb Union and the Eternal in the movie. It can operate independently and, when combined with a mobile suit, adds "AMAZING" to the mobile suit's designation. Equipping the Cavalier Ifrit grants mobile suits the ability to navigate air, water, and space environments, and it's armed with a variety of weapons including beam, solid projectile, electronic warfare, and Mirage Colloid stealth systems. Its internal space can even accommodate over 10 soldiers and is equipped with SPC communication devices, enabling ultra-long-distance real-time communication between Cavalier Ifrit units from Earth to the Moon, as well as remote control of MS functions, making it an incredibly versatile compact mobile command center.
The "METAL ROBOT Spirits Cavalier Ifrit" is crafted to the same scale as other "SEED FREEDOM" series figures, meticulously recreating its disc-shaped exterior armor, front sensor array, rear thrusters, and various armaments. The missile pods on both sides can also open to reveal the internal warhead details. When combined with the separately sold "METAL ROBOT Spirits Z'Gok (SEED FREEDOM Ver.)" main unit, collectors can recreate its impressive combat and flight forms.
