TAKARA TOMY's adult-oriented brand, "tomica," has officially unveiled its high-end multi-story parking garage, the "Automated tomica PARKING with showroom." This premium set boasts remote-controlled automated entry and exit, a 360-degree rotating elevator, and dynamic light display functions. Priced at ¥41,800 (tax included), pre-orders open today, with an anticipated release in late September 2026 across 10 Asian regions, including Japan.
Since its debut in 1970, "tomica" has captivated collectors of all ages with its palm-sized die-cast model cars, selling over a billion units worldwide. In 2015, the brand launched the "Tomica Premium" series, specifically targeting adult collectors with its intricate paintwork and highly realistic model designs.
The new "Automated tomica PARKING with showroom" aims to be the "pinnacle of adult toys," making it the highest-spec multi-story parking garage set in tomica's history. This latest offering features a five-story design, with the third to fifth floors dedicated to parking and display, while the first and second floors are meticulously crafted as a car dealership showroom. The entire setup can accommodate up to 24 Tomica vehicles. The set also includes 5 character accessories and a "Tomica Premium NISSAN GT-R NISMO Special edition" vehicle, allowing collectors to arrange figures freely and create their own unique automotive display.
① Entry Mode / ② Exit Mode: With the remote control, the entrance gate automatically opens, and the central tower elevator rotates 360 degrees as it ascends or descends. As vehicles move, lights on each floor illuminate, creating a seamless and visually captivating sequence that's a true spectacle to behold.
③ Light Mode: 27 LED lights (in 6 colors: white, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple) illuminate the entire parking structure with 10 different patterns. This allows collector vehicles to shine brilliantly, creating an incredibly atmospheric and premium display effect.
