MAX FACTORY and Sentinel are joining forces with illustrator AF_KURO to release a brand new item in their non-scale articulated figure series, "MOTORED CYBORG RUNNER," with the introduction of the "SSX-155c "POP TRACKER"" figure, slated for a July 2027 release!
The "MOTORED CYBORG RUNNER" series is an original project created by illustrator AF_KURO (@llcabR18 ). It envisions a near-future Tokyo where cyborgs equipped with internal combustion engines engage in high-speed races, pushing the limits of speed through the city streets. This thrilling concept combines "internal combustion engines × modified cyborgs × beautiful girls" into one exciting package!
Standing approximately 17.5 cm (6.89 inches) tall, the "MOTORED CYBORG RUNNER SSX-155c "POP TRACKER"" largely shares its core body structure with the previously released "SSX_155ar KINETIC ASH". However, it features personalized new parts for the head, sleeves, waist, backpack, and exhaust ports, all presented in a fresh purple color scheme! This figure marks the series' debut of a twin-tail hairstyle. It includes three distinct face plates: a "standard face," a "screaming face," and a "bubblegum chewing face," offering a more lively and playful range of expressions compared to previous entries. A major highlight of the MOTORED CYBORG RUNNER series—the body's extensive use of die-cast metal parts—is, of course, retained here!
The POP TRACKER is designed with a trendy girl aesthetic, equipped with a megaphone, a retro game console-shaped backpack, and a clear PVC bag. The clear bag attaches to the backpack via connectors for added stability. Pad printing technology is used to accurately reproduce the various graffiti and warning symbols across her body. The figure's exclusive display base is crafted from the same orange clear parts and metal as the transparent bag, and combined with the series' signature highly articulated joints, it allows for a wide range of dynamic running poses!
