Japanese general goods and toy manufacturer LianQLabo (株式会社リアンキューラボ) is set to release a new product based on the popular anime "Takopi's Original Sin"—the "Takopi Squeeze Mascot" capsule toy series. Each gashapon will retail for 500 JPY and is slated for release in November 2026.
Originally serialized by manga artist Taizan 5 in "Shonen Jump+" from December 2021 to March 2022, "Takopi's Original Sin" was adapted into an anime by ENISHIYA in 2025. The story follows Takopi, an alien from Happy Star, who encounters Shizuka Kuse, a girl suffering from bullying. Despite possessing various magical "Happy Tools," Takopi struggles to improve Shizuka's situation, often making things worse.
The new "Takopi Squeeze Mascot" capsule toys bring Takopi to life as approximately 6 cm tall figures. The collection features five adorable designs: "Normal," "Happy," "I'll definitely make you smile!," "I'll definitely make you super happy!," and "Flapping Wings." Each mascot faithfully recreates Takopi's iconic round and cute appearance from the series, complete with printed expressions. The "Flapping Wings" variant even features wing patterns printed on its back! Most importantly, these figures are crafted from a special slow-rise material, allowing fans to squeeze and knead Takopi to their heart's content, just like Shizuka and Marina do in the story, providing a fun way to relieve daily stress!
