American toy maker Super7 has launched a new series based on its 3.75-inch action figure line, dubbed "ReAction+". Kicking things off is a new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" release—the "ReAction+ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutagen Ooze Turtles (Glow)" 3.75-inch figure set was first available as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive, but with the event now over, it's available for order on the official Super7 website for $100!
The "ReAction+" series enhances the classic 5-point articulation (head, shoulders, hips) of the standard ReAction 3.75-inch figures by adding new joints at the elbows and knees. It also incorporates the classic O-ring construction widely used in 3.75-inch action figure lines of the 1980s. This method uses a flexible rubber O-ring to connect the figure's legs to the torso, ensuring structural stability while significantly increasing the range of motion and playability!
This 3.75-inch action figure set takes its inspiration from the very soul of the TMNT universe: the Mutagen Ooze! The set includes all four brothers—Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo—molded in a glow-in-the-dark material that emits an eerie shimmer, just like the ooze itself. The shoulder articulation has also been upgraded from a simple swivel to a hinge joint that allows for outward lateral movement, enabling a much wider variety of dynamic poses!
The turtle shells are removable, revealing sculpted relief details on the interior, including a Mutagen Ooze canister, a kunai, shuriken, and of course, the Turtles' favorite food—pizza! The set also includes each Turtle's signature weapon in their corresponding color: twin katanas, a bo staff, a pair of sai, and nunchucks, allowing you to create all sorts of awesome fighting poses! The packaging features a window box design with ooze graphics and a glowing illustration of the four turtles, making it perfect for display without even opening the box!
