Bandai's Gashapon brand, known for its popular capsule toys, is expanding its "Art in Gashapon" artist collaboration series. This latest release, titled "Art in Gashapon: Insect Skeleton Specimen," features a partnership with sculptor Soichi Harigiri. The collection includes four unique designs, each priced at 1,000 JPY per capsule. These highly anticipated items are currently available for pre-order via PREMIUM BANDAI's "GASHAPON ONLINE" service, with an estimated shipping date in late October 2026.

The "Art in Gashapon: Insect Skeleton Specimen" capsule toy series brings sculptor Soichi Harigiri's "Insect Skeleton" works to life in a collectible Gashapon format, standing approximately 12 to 13 cm tall. The unique concept explores the intriguing question: "What if insects possessed internal skeletons, much like dinosaurs, instead of exoskeletons? We might discover fossils just like these." This imaginative premise has led to the creation of these highly detailed insect skeleton specimens, each boasting approximately 21 points of articulation. The four distinct designs include the Caucasus Beetle and the Palawan Stag Beetle, each available in two color variations: a standard "Skeleton Specimen" color and a "Fossil Specimen" color. The realistic coloring and intricate skeletal designs are truly captivating!
