BANPRESTO Mometria "Jonathan Joestar" from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood Returns for Popular Re-Release!

BANDAI SPIRITS' BANPRESTO prize figure division is set to re-release the highly popular "Jonathan Joestar" figure from "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 1: Phantom Blood" as part of its "Mometria" series, themed after the iconic franchise. This re-release will coincide with the Will A. Zeppeli figure, with both scheduled to be available as prize figures in December 2026!

The saga begins in late 19th-century England, where Dio Brando's father was mistakenly believed to be the savior of the nobleman George Joestar. Consequently, after his father's death, Dio was adopted into the Joestar family, becoming the adoptive brother of George's son, Jonathan. However, the malevolent Dio, seeking to seize the family fortune, used the mysterious Stone Mask to transform into a vampire. Ultimately, he and Jonathan, who opposed him, plunged into the Atlantic Ocean, seemingly perishing together. This tragic event, however, merely set the stage for a century-long confrontation between the Joestar family and Dio and his successors!

The Mometria Jonathan Joestar figure captures his appearance from his final confrontation with Dio in Windknight's Lot. Standing approximately 22 cm tall, this large-scale figure showcases his imposing physique in a dynamic standing pose, gazing forward. The sculpt meticulously recreates his intense facial features and incredibly defined musculature, while the sharp, intricate folds of his attire are also exquisitely reproduced. The paint application further enhances the overall three-dimensionality by deepening the shadow details. Combined with his resolute and profound gaze, the figure perfectly embodies Jonathan's powerful yet gentlemanly presence!
