To celebrate the 13th anniversary of the hit game "The Battle Cats," an official "The Battle Cats 13th Anniversary Pop-Up Event | Nyanko Summer Festival (にゃんこの夏フェス)" has been announced! The event will run for a limited time from Thursday, July 30th to Monday, August 3rd, 2026, at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park, West 2 Hall in Taipei. Daily hours are from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM (closing at 4:30 PM on the final day, August 3rd).
This event not only brings the familiar cat characters into the real world but also features themed displays, photo opportunities, and exclusive event-limited merchandise, immersing fans in the world of the Cat Army's summer festival from the moment they step inside. Admission is free, but entry is managed through an online reservation system on ACCUPASS for all time slots. Each person is limited to one reservation for the duration of the event, with each session offering a 35-minute window to experience the exhibits and shop for merchandise.

"The Battle Cats" is a tower defense mobile game developed by Japan's PONOS Corporation. Known for its charmingly bizarre cat character designs and hilariously over-the-top combat animations, the game has amassed over 80 million downloads worldwide since its launch in 2012. It remains one of the most enduringly popular mobile game series among fans. This 13th-anniversary event, themed around the "Nyanko Summer Festival," brings the game's cast of quirky cats to Huashan, allowing fans in Taiwan to get up close and personal with their favorite characters.
