"Arise!"
World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has officially unveiled a new product from the popular anime "Solo Leveling": the Sung Jinwoo 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure. Priced at $285 USD, the figure is slated for release in March 2028!
"Solo Leveling" originated as a South Korean web novel by Chugong (추공), later adapted into a webtoon by Jang Sung-rak in 2018, and then into an anime series by Japanese animation studio A-1 Pictures in 2024. The story follows E-Rank hunter Sung Jinwoo, the weakest of his kind, in a world where gates connect to monster-filled dimensions. After a near-fatal incident, Jinwoo gains a unique system that allows him to level up like in a game, embarking on a solitary journey of growth.
Standing approximately 32 cm tall, this Sung Jinwoo collectible figure captures his appearance from Episode 24 of the anime, specifically during his epic battle against the Ant King on Jeju Island. The head sculpt meticulously recreates the Hunter's facial details, and it comes with three pairs of interchangeable eyeballs, allowing for dynamic gaze adjustments. These eyeballs feature UV-sensitive paint, which, when illuminated by a UV light, brilliantly replicates his glowing eyes from the anime. Furthermore, translucent effect parts are included to simulate the striking blue flames emanating from his eyes! The figure utilizes a newly developed specialized body, and to maintain the overall aesthetic integrity, each interchangeable hand is designed to attach with the entire forearm, cleverly concealing the wrist joints beneath the sleeves!
The meticulously tailored fabric costume includes a white T-shirt, black pants, and his iconic blue hooded robe. The robe features embedded wires along the sides, allowing for dynamic posing and flowing movement! Accessories abound, with multiple interchangeable hands, a green Return Stone, a Potion of Life bottle, and a System Status Window display panel. His arsenal of weapons includes Kaisel's Poison Fang Dagger, Knight Killer, the Demon King's Dagger, and the Longsword of the Demon King, acquired after defeating the Demon King. These can be combined with slashing effect parts to recreate powerful combat stances! Additionally, the figure comes with bust effect parts for Igris and Beru, whose eyes are also treated with UV fluorescent paint, allowing them to be displayed with their dedicated bases to showcase the formidable presence of the Shadow Monarch!
