Bushiroad Creative's "Bushicap!" capsule toy brand in Japan has launched a new original series: the "Gorellina" capsule toys. These figures combine the powerful physique of a gorilla with the graceful elegance of a ballerina, each sporting a pink ballet leotard and shoes, topped with a golden crown. Their muscular forms are used to express dynamic and elaborate dance poses. The series features 5 different figures, including one secret variant, with each capsule priced at 400 JPY (tax included). They began rolling out across Japan on July 30, 2026.

"Gorellina" is an original project from Bushicap!, not based on any existing anime or game IP. The official story behind the product's inspiration is that the project lead dreamt of a "gorgeously dancing gorilla." This vision led to the fusion of the gorilla's heavy, powerful build and stern expression with the soft, delicate movements of ballet, resulting in a unique design officially described as "strong yet cute."

The four standard figures are named "~un~," "~deux~," "~trois~," and "~quatre~," representing different poses. These include a single-leg stand, a leg-lifted pirouette, a stretching balance, and a seated spread. Beyond the rugged muscular contours and fur textures, the sculpts also meticulously detail the fingertips, the ruffles of the leotard, and the ribbons of the ballet shoes. Each figure comes with a display stand. The as-yet-unrevealed secret variant is teased only as a black silhouette, adding an exciting element of mystery for collectors aiming to complete the set.
