The annual Bandai festival is back! This year, Bandai Namco Taiwan is rolling out the massive "Bandai Namco Asia Journey in Taiwan" carnival. The event spans two major venues, the Uni-President Department Store Taipei Store and DREAM PLAZA, bringing a huge lineup of exhibits, exclusive merchandise, a stamp rally, and much more. Running from July 31st to August 9th, 2026, all ten themed zones offer free admission, making this an absolute must-visit pilgrimage for all toy collectors!

Spanning two venues, five floors, and 10 themed exhibition areas, the event gathers over 20 popular IPs from classic to contemporary, including fan-favorites like "Gundam," "One Piece," "Dragon Ball," "HUNTER×HUNTER," "Godzilla," and "Ultraman!"
Just outside Exit 2 of the Taipei City Hall MRT station, you'll be greeted by a giant RX-78-2 Gundam. Head up the stairs, and you'll find what everyone's waiting for: the pop-up store and stage area! This zone brings together Bandai's diverse product lines, including the TAMASHII NATIONS collectors division, PREMIUM BANDAI online shop, Ichiban Kuji, BANDAI TOYS, model kits, BANPRESTO, BANDAI CANDY (Shokugan), the Card Division, and Lifestyle Division. Prepare for a massive product onslaught, with many items making their Taiwan debut and over 30 event-exclusive products that will make your wallet take a serious hit!
Head up to the 3rd-floor exhibition area to see the adorable "Tamagotchi World Tour Section," featuring a highly photogenic large-scale character wall and a game experience zone. Flanking this are the "All-Stars Special Exhibition Areas," showcasing Ichiban Kuji prizes from a host of popular series, including "Evangelion," "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," "Crayon Shin-chan," and more!
The 4th floor is home to three major showcases: the Godzilla Classic Legacy Zone, the Ultraman Heroes Zone, and the Mobile Suit Gundam Pavilion. A statue of Godzilla Ultima and a massive, 5-meter-tall PG UNLEASHED Nu Gundam statue will be on display in Taiwan for the first time, making them absolute highlights for photos and social media!
The exhibition extends over to DREAM PLAZA. Outside on the first floor, you'll find the "Tamagotchi Decoration Corridor," the "Journey Photo Op Area," and the "One Piece Adventure Zone." You can get a commemorative shot with both the RX-78-2 Gundam and the Taipei 101 skyscraper in the background. The nearby Luffy statue and the specially-built ship deck display are also incredibly impressive!
In addition to these outdoor displays, the event also features a "Hands-On Experience Zone" on the 5th floor of DREAM PLAZA. The stage area will host meet-and-greets with popular characters from "Anpanman," "Ultraman," and "Pretty Cure," offering fun for fans of all ages! Finally, the event is running a special stamp rally featuring an exclusive visual of a Taiwan-exclusive Gundam postcard. Visit the five designated exhibition areas to collect different colored stamps and complete the awesome commemorative postcard!
