Hong Kong-based sculptor Joe Tsui's model brand, JOKU Production, is launching a new addition to its HyperMod UltraHero series: a pre-painted "Ultraman" figure! This exciting release is priced at 14,100 JPY and is slated for a January 2027 debut.
The HyperMod UltraKaiju series, officially licensed by Tsuburaya Productions, reimagines classic Ultraman monsters with adorable proportions. These collectible figures are known for their intricate details and built-in LED light-up features, capturing the monsters' lively and charming appearances. Now, the newly introduced HyperMod UltraHero line shifts focus to the heroes, kicking things off with none other than the original Ultraman himself!
Standing approximately 18 cm tall, this HyperMod UltraHero "Ultraman" figure perfectly captures the iconic pose of Ultraman unleashing his Specium Ray, rendered in an adorable 2.5-head-tall proportion. Every detail, from the subtle wrinkles in his suit to the dorsal fin zipper on his back, has been meticulously sculpted. The figure features LED light-up functions in both the eyes and chest, allowing collectors to switch between the Color Timer's red and blue glowing effects via a magnetic switch. What's more, a Specium Ray effect part is included, enabling you to recreate the powerful moment of his attack. For an ultimate display, pair him with the simultaneously released UltraKaiju Zetton to stage their legendary battle!
